According to preliminary information, the male driver, born in 1950, driving a Chevrolet Niva car, entered the lane of the road intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Mersedes car driven by a man born in 1975.
"As a result of the accident, four people died from their injuries at the scene and three people with injuries of varying severity were taken to the hospital," the department's Telegram channel said.
Earlier that day, a Porsche car drove into five parked cars on the embankment of Uchkuyevka beach in Sevastopol. It was noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident. The driver of the Porsche refused to undergo a medical examination for alcohol in his blood.
