The Russian Foreign Ministry told about the new requirements for the return of Western companies to Russia

Foreign companies must prove their reliability before returning to Russia. This was announced on June 8 by Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Those who want to return to Russia from Western countries should understand that they have to prove their reliability to us," he said in an interview with RT.

He added that now the market positions occupied by Western companies have already been occupied by Russian manufacturers, as well as firms from China, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India.

Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, said on May 28 that the main condition that must be met for the return of foreign brands to Russia is the interests of the country.
