MO: repatriation trains with bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers will start moving on Sunday

Repatriation trains carrying the bodies of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) In order to transfer them from Russia to their homeland, according to the agreements reached, movement in the Ukrainian direction will begin in the near future. Zorin also noted that the first batch of 1,212 bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers has already been delivered to the area of the proposed exchange. Earlier on June 8, a correspondent for Izvestia reported that a refrigerated truck with the bodies of dead Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters had been opened to journalists and representatives of foreign media. They were able to see that the bodies would be transported packed in bags. The director of the Russian-Arab Cultural Center in St. Petersburg and a representative of the Al Mayadeen TV channel, who arrived at the parking lot of refrigerated trucks, said he wanted to show the whole world the real face of the Kiev regime.

The day before, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed indefinitely the reception of the bodies of dead soldiers and the exchange of prisoners of war. He called on Ukraine to comply with the agreed schedule and fulfill all the agreements that were reached at the second round of negotiations in Istanbul.
