In the Tver region, a boat killed a girl who was surfing on the Volga River at night. This was announced on June 8 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"In the Tver region, a girl staged a night surfing without thinking about her safety," the Telegram channel says.
The agency added that a boat was passing along the river at the same time. The driver of the vessel did not notice the girl, and as a result, a collision occurred. The girl died at the scene.
A source from Izvestia reported on May 22 that a motorboat with three people capsized on the Amur River in the Khabarovsk Territory. According to him, the people on board presumably drowned.
