Investigators are investigating the circumstances of the injury of a resident of the Kursk region during a drone attack.

Investigators are establishing the circumstances of injury by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to a civilian resident of the village of Sukhinovka in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on June 8 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"As part of the investigation of the criminal case of a terrorist act <...>, military investigators continue to work in the Kursk region to identify and document crimes committed by Ukrainian military personnel," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that Ukrainian militants attacked the territory of an apartment building in the village of Sukhinovka with a drone. As a result of this attack, a 66-year-old man was injured. According to the victim, he received shrapnel wounds to his body.

The perpetrators of this crime are currently being identified.

The day before, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened under paragraphs "a" and "b" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act") into the shelling by Ukrainian militants of the village of Pushkarozhadinsky in the Kursk region, as a result of which three civilians were injured.
