Military personnel of the Zapad and Vostok groups of forces destroyed 52 control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 11 Starlink satellite communication stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the special operation zone over the past day. This was announced on June 8 by the heads of the press centers of the Western and Eastern groups of troops, Ivan Bigma and Alexander Gordeev.
"39 UAV control points and 11 Starlink satellite communication stations were destroyed," Bigma told Interfax.
Gordeev, in turn, clarified that the soldiers of the Eastern Group of Forces managed to eliminate 13 UAV control points during the day.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that artillery units of the Vostok group of forces had destroyed the dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the special military operation (SVO). It was clarified that the positions of the Ukrainian militants were in a wooded area, they were discovered by Russian intelligence officers.
