The calculation of the ZALA UAV adjusted the air strikes on the AFU targets in the Kherson region

Calculations of the ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 18th combined arms army of the Dnepr group of forces adjusted the air strikes of the Armed Forces of Russia on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. On June 8, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of drone operators.

Making a planned flyby of the right bank of the Dnieper River, the reconnaissance drone operator discovered an accumulation of up to 30 militants hiding in the basements of destroyed houses. Their coordinates were promptly transmitted to the control center of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) for subsequent liquidation.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the airstrike was carried out by FAB-500 aircraft bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).

"It's daytime and, accordingly, ZALA is flying with a day camera. As soon as the time of day changes, we will change the board and the ZARA with a thermal imaging camera will fly. And we will read the thermal signatures of personnel and equipment," said an operator technician with the call sign Ratnik.

According to the agency, the ZALA drone has a long range (up to 100 km) and a flight duration (up to 5 hours.) This model can carry out photo and video recording of enemy detection and destruction and carry out artillery reconnaissance and fire correction in real time.

Military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of the Dnepr group of forces carry out aerial reconnaissance and detection of artillery firing positions, manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area around the clock, the Ministry stressed.
