A child and a man died in an accident with a moose in Bashkortostan.

In the Krasnokamsky district of Bashkortostan, two people died as a result of an accident with a moose — a man and a child. This was announced on June 7 by the Chief State Traffic Safety Inspector of the republic, Vladimir Sevastyanov.
It is noted that the accident occurred on 11 km of the Neftekamsk–Yanaul highway. It was previously established that the driver ran over the animal, as a result of which his Skoda Octavia car drove into a ditch, where it crashed into a tree.
"As a result of the accident, the male driver and his minor passenger died before the ambulance arrived. A wild animal has died," Sevastyanov said in a Telegram message.
Law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier in the day, the Moscow Department of Transport reported that an accident involving two cars had occurred in Moscow on Ferghana Street. The operational services of the city were working on the spot.
