The number of people injured in a hit-and-run in Bavaria has increased to five

The number of people injured when a car hit a group of people in the city of Passau in Bavaria has increased to five. This was reported on June 7 by the German newspaper Bild, citing the police.
"We currently have one person with moderate injuries and four people with minor injuries," the police said in a statement.
It is specified that the driver moved to Germany from Iraq.
"At present, it cannot be ruled out that the man deliberately drove the vehicle into a group of people," the department said.
On the same day, it was reported that a Mercedes car with a 48-year-old man at the wheel drove into a group of people in the city of Passau in Bavaria. Presumably, the driver's 38-year-old wife and his five-year-old daughter are also among the victims.
