The Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHF) was unable to open aid distribution centers due to threats received by the fund's drivers and local Palestinian staff from the Palestinian radical group Hamas. The Times of Israel wrote about this on Saturday, June 7.

"Hamas is the reason that hundreds of thousands of hungry Gazans have not been fed today," GHF said in a statement.

The foundation clarified that the Palestinian movement had made direct threats against GHF operations.

It is clarified that this is the fourth time this week that GHF's activities have been disrupted.

The day before, The Jerusalem Post reported that GHF had announced the closure of all aid posts in the enclave. The GHF urged not to approach the places of distribution of aid.
