The Kiev regime, having abandoned the agreements on the exchange of prisoners and the bodies of the dead, finally signed its incapacity. Political scientist Igor Semenovsky told Izvestia about this on June 7.

"It is difficult to call the Kiev regime negotiable, otherwise there would have been no violations on the Maidan in 2013, there would have been no violations of Minsk-1 and Minsk-2, the grain deal, the Istanbul deal. There would be no shares in the Butch and so on. Therefore, it is not necessary to believe that the Kiev regime will faithfully follow the agreements, which are stated even at the highest level," the expert said.

According to the political scientist, in fact, Kiev is delaying its history until the resignation of the current authorities. Their refusal to take the bodies of the dead of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"And if now six thousand people are simultaneously returned to relatives who believe that their relatives are now missing, but in fact they are dead, this will trigger demands from relatives for compensation from the authorities and compensation for damage to people's lives and health. In general, this will put a heavy burden on the Ukrainian budget," Semenovsky said.

As the expert emphasized, without the help of European allies, Ukraine's budget is literally "on artificial ventilation" and represents an absolutely "unviable plot." Political analyst Bogdan Bezpalko also told Izvestia that Kiev is absolutely incompetent, and it is very difficult to negotiate a truce with such a "partner".

"Kiev does not even take its dead. The reasons may be different. Both the desire to disrupt any agreements that were mediated by the Russian delegation, and simply the unwillingness to pay the relatives of the deceased their due payments," he said.

In any case, it shows that neither its soldiers nor its prisoners matter to Kiev. The main thing for the current regime is the fight against Russia, Bezpalko said, and therefore it is completely unclear what can be negotiated at all.

Earlier in the day, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed indefinitely the reception of the bodies of dead soldiers and the exchange of prisoners of war. He also called on Ukraine to comply with the agreed schedule and fulfill all the agreements that were reached at the second round of negotiations in Istanbul.

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Colonel-General Alexander Fomin said that Russia had sent Ukraine a proposal in advance to transfer the bodies of the dead soldiers and was ready to begin implementing the agreements this week.
