Deception is a characteristic feature of the Ukrainian government. This opinion was expressed by diplomat Sergei Ordzhonikidze in an interview with Izvestia on June 7.

"It is typical for Ukrainian diplomacy and statehood in general, if you can call it that. It is typical to engage in deception, deceiving everyone, both their own and others," he said, commenting on the absence of representatives of the Kiev regime at the place of the exchange of prisoners of war and the transfer of the bodies of the dead.

The diplomat added that Kiev also does not want to pay compensation to the relatives of the victims. Since 2023, the Kiev regime has announced payments of $257,000 for each victim, but so far no one in Ukraine has received these payments.

Another reason for Ukraine to abandon its soldiers, according to Ordzhonikidze, is the lack of necessary funds to store the bodies of the dead.

On the same day, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that the Ukrainian side had unexpectedly postponed indefinitely the reception of the bodies of dead soldiers and the exchange of prisoners of war. He also called on Ukraine to comply with the agreed schedule and fulfill all the agreements that were reached at the second round of negotiations in Istanbul.
