Putin signed the law on the creation of the TOP in the Magadan region


Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on the creation of a priority development area (TOP) while maintaining a free customs zone on the territory of the special economic zone (SEZ) in the Magadan Region. The relevant document was posted on the official website of the publication of legal acts on June 7.
According to the document, the ban on the creation of a TOP is lifted on the territory of the SEZ in the Magadan region, as well as in the South Kuril, Kuril and North Kuril urban districts of the Sakhalin Region.
It is reported that at the same time, the free customs zone on the territory of the SEZ in the Magadan region will be maintained.
On April 1, it became known that a new industrial SEZ Yuzhnouralskaya would appear in the Chelyabinsk Region. It clarifies that special economic zones are needed for the development of industry, high-tech sectors of the economy, tourism and logistics infrastructure of the country.
