In St. Petersburg, fraudsters convinced a 13-year-old child to let them into an apartment and stole more than 6.2 million rubles. This was announced on June 7 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city.

It is specified that the attackers came to one of the apartments in St. Petersburg during the absence of their parents. Introducing themselves as law enforcement officers, they convinced the child to let them in to conduct a search.

The girl let in strangers, who as a result stole money and jewelry from the safe, and then disappeared. The total damage of the stolen goods amounted to more than 6.2 million rubles.

"A criminal case has been opened under part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft")," the Telegram channel says.

Currently, police officers will launch an investigation.

Earlier that day, in St. Petersburg, the police detained a group of scammers who hacked pages on the Gosuslugi portal to steal money. It was noted that the attackers purchased previously used SIM cards and found out which numbers they used to register for Public Services. After that, the scammers hacked into other people's accounts and obtained the personal data of their owners.
