A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint forces of Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as view the map of military operations on June 7 in the Izvestia material.

At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched group strikes with precision weapons and drones against enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Kiev regime, drone assembly shops, weapons maintenance and repair points, as well as ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All targets were successfully hit.

On the ground, units of the Vostok group advanced deep into the enemy's defenses, while units of the Zapad group defeated formations of three mechanized, assault, and airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades.

"Units of the Center group of forces have improved their position along the front line. <...> Enemy losses amounted to more than 515 military personnel, four Kazak armored fighting vehicles, eight pickups, five artillery pieces, as well as the AN/TPQ-32 counter-battery radar manufactured in the United States," the Russian Defense Ministry said..

The air defense forces, in turn, destroyed 311 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the enemy, 140 of them outside the special operation zone. In addition, the Kiev regime lost four unmanned boats in the Black Sea.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 62,124 UAVs, 610 anti-aircraft missile systems, 23,800 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,570 multiple rocket launchers, 25,825 field artillery guns and mortars, 36,590 units of special military vehicles.
