Sobyanin spoke about the attitude of Muscovites to restaurants
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the capital's restaurateurs on their professional holiday. In his Telegram message, he thanked the catering workers for their contribution to the dynamic development of the industry and wished them new successes.
According to the mayor, Moscow has been one of the gastronomic capitals of the world for several years. Almost every street in the city has establishments with Russian, Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine. Summer verandas are especially popular during the warmer months.
Tourists reserve tables in famous restaurants in advance. "This supports not only the image of our city, but also its economy," Sobyanin said.
According to the mayor, "Muscovites cannot imagine their lives without food prepared by professionals, whether it's a cup of coffee at home before work or a hearty dinner in a restaurant."
