Dmitriev warned of suicide of the West due to suppression of criticism of migration

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), suggested on June 7 that the suppression of criticism of mass migration in Western countries may indicate the suicide of Western civilization.

The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund drew attention to a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter), which, with reference to the Telegraph newspaper, claims that the British authorities are investigating people concerned about the increase in migration to the United Kingdom. Dmitriev recalled a statement by US Vice President Jay Dee Vance in March, who stated the risk of "civilizational suicide" in the West due to open borders.

"If this is not what J.D. Vance meant by the suicide of Western civilization, then what is?" the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund wrote on the social network X in response to a publication about London politics.

Earlier, on June 1, the head of the Federation Council's information policy commission, Alexei Pushkov, noted that the British authorities were seeking to replace the country's indigenous population with migrants. According to him, what is happening in the country is a colossal globalist operation to resettle peoples, which is being passed off as a natural phenomenon.
