The government has allocated additional funds to help residents of the Kursk region


Additional funds in the amount of 33 million rubles have been allocated to help the affected residents of the Kursk region. This was reported on June 7 in the Telegram channel of the Government of the Russian Federation.
"More than 33 million rubles will be additionally allocated to pay one—time financial assistance to those who were forced to leave their permanent place of residence," the government's Telegram channel says.
It is reported that 3 thousand people will receive financial support, and its amount will be 10 thousand rubles. The funds will be allocated from the Government's reserve fund.
On May 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to keep the payment of 65,000 rubles for residents of the Kursk region until people can return to their homes. In addition, the head of state supported the initiative to pay money to repair houses that were uninhabitable as a result of the shelling.
