In St. Petersburg, a teenager was charged with terrorism after setting fire to a car on Zakharyevskaya Street near the Federal Security Service (FSB) building. This was reported on June 7 in the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city.
"A 15-year—old teenager has been charged under paragraphs "a, b" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Commission of a terrorist act by a group of persons by prior agreement")," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the suspect received a messenger assignment to set fire to a certain car, which allegedly contained an explosive device. The defendant poured ignition fluid on the hood of the car and set it on fire. After that, the teenager was detained by eyewitnesses.
According to the TV channel 78.ru The perpetrators of the terrorist attack called the suspect under the guise of allegedly politician Alexander Belov and threatened to arrest his parents. To avoid this, the minor went to the FSB building and set fire to the car.

On June 4, law enforcement officers detained a 16-year-old teenager who was planning to set fire to a locomotive in the Kemerovo region. It was noted that the young man was promised a monetary reward for setting fire to the locomotive.
