In Mariupol, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), police officers found 39 illegal migrants. This was reported on June 7 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

"In order to identify and verify the legality of the stay of labor migrants on the territory of the DPR, to prevent and disclose crimes committed by foreign citizens on the territory of Mariupol <...>, a series of inspections were conducted," the department's Telegram channel said.

The ministry noted that during the inspection, law enforcement officers found 215 foreign citizens and drew up 39 administrative protocols on violations of the rules of entry into Russia. Four criminal cases have also been initiated under Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Forgery of documents".

On May 30, Svetlana Petrenko, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, announced that a criminal community of 17 people had been uncovered in Perm, which illegally legalized 200 migrants in the Russian Federation. It was noted that all the defendants were charged. Two organizers are in custody, the rest are under preventive measures.
