The circumstances of the shelling of civilians by Ukrainian military personnel in the Korenevsky district of the Kursk region are being established. This was announced on June 7 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.
"On May 24, they carried out another shelling of a residential area in the Korenevsky district. As a result of the incident, three civilians were injured and private households were damaged," Petrenko said.
According to her, at the moment, investigators are carrying out the necessary actions to fix the damage, establish the type of projectiles and the amount of damage.
"A rocket arrived, which is loaded with cluster [shells]. The first time we were in the house, we ran out, hid in the basement, waited for some time, jumped outside. And this is the second time already," said one of the victims.
It is reported that a criminal case has been opened on this incident under the article on terrorism.
On June 6, Alexander Khinshtein, Acting Governor of the Kursk region, announced that a civilian was injured in a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Rylsky district. The injured 38-year-old man was in a car at the time of the attack.
