A teenager died in an accident with a moped in the Altai Territory

In the Altai Territory, two teenagers on a moped were involved in an accident, one of them died, the second was hospitalized. This was announced on June 7 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"On June 6, at 20:25, two minors, both born in 2010, without protective helmets, crossed the federal highway on a Racer moped, moving from the village of Molodezhny to the village of Panovo. They were not convinced of their safety and collided with a passenger car moving along the highway," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is reported that as a result of the accident, both teenagers were taken to a medical facility, where one of them died.

According to the Interior Ministry, an investigation is currently underway to establish the circumstances of the incident. It is specified that the young man driving the moped did not have a driver's license.

"The prosecutor of the Altai Territory, Anton German, has put under control the establishment of the circumstances of the incident and the adoption of a procedural decision," the department concluded.

Earlier that day, it became known that two people were killed in a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the Ural Highway in Samara. Alexander Deryabin, head of the Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the region, noted that the victims died before the ambulance arrived.
