At least 11 children were poisoned in a camp in the Omsk region

At least 11 children were hospitalized with signs of poisoning at the Orlyonok camp in the Kalachinsky district of the Omsk region. This was reported on June 7 in the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"11 minors between the ages of seven and 14 were admitted to an infectious diseases hospital with the same signs of the disease," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

At the moment, the condition of all the poisoned is satisfactory. The specialists carried out all necessary checks and took samples of water and food products. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.

On June 5, Rospotrebnadzor reported that eight children with intestinal infection were hospitalized from the Yekaterinburg– Anapa train. According to preliminary data, the cause of the disease was norovirus.
