In the Irkutsk region, a drunk 16-year-old teenager gave chase to a traffic police car. This was reported on June 7 in the press service of the regional state traffic inspectorate.

"A drunk teenager started a chase in the Tayshetsky district," the department said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the traffic police crew, carrying out night patrols in the Kvitok work settlement, drew attention to the VAZ car, the driver of which did not respond to the demands of police officers to stop. As a result of a short chase, the car stopped. The driver of the car turned out to be a 16-year-old teenager, who explained that his father had bought the car for him.

The intoxication examination procedure showed that the rate of ethyl alcohol in the exhaled air was exceeded by 1.2 times. Administrative protocols were drawn up against the young man for four traffic violations, which will be decided by the juvenile Affairs commission, the department added.

"The teenager's legal representatives will be held accountable for the transfer of management rights and improper performance of parental duties, and the young man will be placed on preventive registration with law enforcement agencies," the statement said.

On May 29, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that in the Shushensky district of the region, a 13-year-old teenager got behind the wheel of his mother's car while the woman was at work and got into an accident. It was clarified that there was a 14-year-old friend of the boy in the car, whom he took for a ride, he was not injured.
