The expert reported an increase in pension payments to certain categories of Russians

Pension payments will be increased for some categories of Russians this summer. This was announced on June 7 by the Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law, Professor Vadim Vinogradov.

"All the increases planned for the summer are permanent and will be paid monthly after the appointment. Most recalculations are made in an undeclared manner, which greatly simplifies the procedure for receiving the required surcharges and saves pensioners from having to personally visit government institutions," the expert told the Prime agency.

According to him, pensioners who have minor children will receive 2,923 rubles for each child, but no more than three, to their monthly payments.

In August, employed pensioners will receive an increase in payments. Vinogradov noted that the amount of their payments will be reviewed taking into account the number of pension points earned during 2024. The maximum increase in this case will be 437 rubles, the expert added.

Also, starting from August 1, payments will be recalculated for pensioners who are eligible for additional payments due to the special conditions of their previous employment. To receive this type of payment, you must submit an application before June 30, Vinogradov explained.

Despite the resumption of their indexation from 2025, workers still receive 20% less than the unemployed.

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said on June 5 that those who celebrated their 80th birthday in June would double their pension payments from July 1. He also noted that they will receive a care allowance, which for the current year is 1,314 rubles.
