In Samara, two people were killed in a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the Ural highway. This was announced on June 6 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"At 20:55 (21:55 Moscow time), two vehicles collided on the Ural highway. A Honda motorcycle driven by a man born in 1997 and a KamAZ car driven by a driver born in 1993. A motorcycle driver and his passenger, a girl born in 1997, were killed at the scene of the accident," the Telegram channel said.

Alexander Deryabin, head of the Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the region, noted that the victims died before the ambulance arrived. Police officers are investigating the circumstances of the accident at the scene, he added.

Earlier in the day, a bus overturned in the Samara region after a collision with a bump. As a result of the accident, five people were injured and taken to a medical facility.
