Five people were injured in a bus accident in the Samara region.


As a result of a collision with a bump and the subsequent overturning of a bus in the Samara region, five people were injured. This was reported on June 6 in the main regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"On 80 km of the Samara – Pugachev – Engel–Volgograd highway, a 56-year-old passenger bus driver collided with a bump while driving, after which the vehicle was thrown into a ditch, followed by a rollover. Five passengers of the bus were taken to a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that the incident occurred at approximately 20:45 local time (19:45 Moscow time). As a result of the incident, traffic on the motorway was not blocked.
At the moment, police officers are working at the scene of the accident to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
On the same day, it became known about seven victims of a bus overturning with children in the Khabarovsk Territory. It was later clarified that the number of injured children had increased to 12, in addition, two adults were injured. The governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Dmitry Demeshin, said that after this incident, a large-scale inspection of drivers involved in the transportation of minors will be carried out in the region.
