On June 7, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of the Russian military in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

Thus, the ministry noted the actions of the operator of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Private Alexander Osipov, who performed the tasks of detecting military equipment, positions of fire weapons, as well as sabotage and reconnaissance groups of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) operating in his area of responsibility. While conducting aerial reconnaissance with the help of a drone, Osipov discovered the enemy's DRG.

Then he promptly transmitted information about the detection of Ukrainian militants and their coordinates to the command post. Based on these data, Russian artillery units launched a fire strike, as a result of which a large number of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel were destroyed. Thanks to the courageous and competent actions of Private Osipov, the Russian Armed Forces managed to protect the unit's positions from enemy attack.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the actions of the orderly instructor of the medical department of the Guard, Private Alexander Zhilin, who, in the immediate vicinity of the line of combat contact, performed a combat mission to provide first aid to wounded servicemen and evacuate them to medical institutions. During a special mission, his group came under intense artillery fire from Ukrainian militants, as a result of which three servicemen received shrapnel wounds. Zhilin quickly moved the wounded to a shelter, gave them first aid and decided to evacuate.

On the way to the evacuation point, the group was attacked using ammunition dropped from an enemy UAV, as a result of which Zhilin received shrapnel wounds in his left leg and shoulder. After finding shelter, he gave himself first aid. After waiting for the moment when the enemy drone went to recharge, despite being wounded, he gathered the remaining members of the group and took them to the evacuation point for the wounded. The brave and decisive actions of the guard of Private Alexander Zhilin contributed to the preservation of the lives of Russian servicemen.
