Three policemen were killed in an accident with a fuel tanker in the Astrakhan region.

An accident involving a passenger car and a fuel tanker occurred in the Limansky district of the Astrakhan region, and three police officers were killed in the accident. This was reported on June 6 by the regional investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

"An accident involving a Lada car and a fuel tanker occurred on the R-215 Astrakhan–Makhachkala highway in the Limansky district of the Astrakhan region. As a result, three police officers who were in a passenger car were killed," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.

Currently, the operational investigation team is establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

On June 5, one person was killed in a three-car collision in the Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory. The driver of the Oka drove into the oncoming lane and collided with Kia Sorento and BMW X5 cars, as a result of which he died on the spot.
