The Austrian parliament criticized Zelensky's visit to the country

Herbert Kickl, chairman of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPO) and leader of the country's largest parliamentary faction, expressed dissatisfaction with the upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the republic. This was reported by Kosmo on June 6.
"It is irresponsible, especially now, when many parties are striving for peaceful negotiations, to provide the president of a country in a state of conflict with a platform [to speak]," the publication quoted him as saying.
Kickl noted that Zelensky's visit to Austria would violate the principle of the country's neutrality and create potential risks for the republic.
The MP also said that the preparation of a diplomatic visit is a "mockery" in the presence of a population suffering from high inflation. Kickl also accused the Austrian authorities of turning the country into a "political puppet of foreign interests" and providing a "propaganda platform" for Zelensky.
Earlier, the media reported that Zelensky's visit to Austria could take place on June 16. It was clarified that the President of Ukraine is scheduled to meet with his Austrian counterpart Alexander van der Bellen.
On April 14, Tony Yengeni, a former member of the National Executive Committee of the ruling Party of South Africa, opposed Zelensky's visit to the country. He noted that the President of Ukraine is guilty of killing innocent people and forcibly mobilizing the population.
