In Moscow, a woman killed her mother with dumbbells and hid her body in a bag

In Moscow, a 49-year-old woman killed her mother with dumbbells. This was reported on June 6 in the press service of the city prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on June 4 in an apartment building on Stroitelei Street. The body of a woman born in 1951 with signs of violent death was found there.

"According to the defendant, during the quarrel, she struck her mother on the head with multiple blows with a dumbbell. Then she put the victim's body in a plastic bag and hid it in one of the rooms, covering it with things," the department's Telegram channel said.

A criminal case has been opened against the woman under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. In the near future, the accused will undergo a psychological and psychiatric examination.

Earlier, on May 31, a young man born in 2006 stabbed his girlfriend born in 2007 near one of the apartment buildings in Moscow. The victim died at the scene from her injuries. After that, the young man committed suicide.
