During the June holidays, rental housing in the Russian Federation will grow by 30%. This follows from a study by analysts of the Humopeu wallet and the Daily online booking service.<url>", which was reviewed by Izvestia on June 9.
According to him, the majority of Russians will spend the June holidays in cities. Service "Daily.<url> found out that Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi are among the most popular cities. At the same time, Russians can save money on renting housing in Derbent, Yoshkar-Ola and Volgograd. The company stressed that compared to last year's figures, demand increased by 30%.
"Interest in Karelia and Dagestan has grown significantly. As usual, Minsk is also popular — the demand for housing in this city is close to hype, which is why the average rental price has increased by almost 40% over the year and exceeded 7.5 thousand rubles per day," said the marketing director of Daily.<url>" by Airat Musin.
The average cost of holiday housing in the Russian Federation is 5.5 thousand rubles. Compared to 2024, the price increased by 22%. In Moscow, renting a house will cost 5.7 thousand rubles (+17%), in St. Petersburg - 6.7 thousand rubles (+25%), in Sochi — 6.4 thousand rubles (+11%).
In Kazan, the average rental price is 5.9 thousand rubles (+20%), in Kaliningrad — 4.5 thousand rubles (+21%). In Nizhny Novgorod, the rental price for the year increased by 31% and amounted to 6.6 thousand rubles, in Kislovodsk an increase of 18% (4.9 thousand rubles) was detected, in Yaroslavl — by 13% (5.7 thousand rubles)
Russians started making plans for four June weekends back in June. So, from March to May 2025, the number of flight bookings increased by 6% compared to the same period last year. The turnover increased by 5%, the average check did not change and amounted to 11,072 rubles. The demand for museum tickets increased by 13% in May compared to 2024.
"During the June holidays, some Russians will go on independent trips near their homes. At YUKASSA, we see that demand for commuter train tickets increased in May: the number of purchases increased by 6% year—on-year, turnover by 21%, and the average receipt by 14%, to 2,867 rubles," said Irina Polyakova, head of Corporate Customer support at HUMOPEU.
On May 31, Izvestia got acquainted with the study "Humopeu" and "Daily.<url>", the results of which showed that among the Russians surveyed, the majority (60%) prefer to spend the summer outside the city. Against this background, interest in short-term rental homes increased by 40% over the year.
