Russian singer Pelageya performed the song "Call me Softly by your Name", which originally appeared on the studio album of the band "Polustanochki", released in 2000, as part of the tribute "Lyube. 35. Everything begins again...".

"Since early childhood, like many of my compatriots, I have loved Lube. The tape was listened to through the holes, and the songs still evoke a whole range of emotions at the same time: from a painful longing for oneself to a blissful, native feeling of belonging to our common unconscious," the singer said.

She noted that the tribute to "Lube" is an interesting work, but it was not easy for the artists. Pelageya stressed that she was afraid to add something from herself and "overload the perfect track."

"Call me softly by your name" is one of my favorite songs, which invariably causes me tears, nostalgia, and reflections in which I want to stay longer, not run my thoughts further into the hustle and bustle of everyday life," the artist shared.

She added that this song "Lyube" especially feels a quiet and sincere love for the Motherland.

On May 23, it was reported that Russian actor Gosha Kutsenko performed the song "Guys from Our Yard", which originally appeared on the band's fifth studio album "Songs about People", released in 1997, as part of the tribute "Lube. 35. Everything Starts Again...".

The tribute "Lyube. 35. Everything starts again..." is a reinterpretation of the band's songs by other musicians in their signature style. The idea to record such an album appeared more than a year ago, and more than 50 performers and bands of various generations and genres took part in the work on it.

The release of the first part of the tribute album "Lube. 35. Everything starts again ..." took place on February 21. So, the first part of the album includes such popular songs of the band as "Battalion Commander" performed by Alexander Marshal, "Taganskaya Station" performed by Garik Sukachev, "There, beyond the mists" performed by Elena Vaenga, "Horse" performed by the Sretensky Monastery choir, "The main thing is that I have you" performed by the band "25/17" and others.
