Marketing was called the most conflict-ridden area of work

More than half of young entrepreneurs in Russia face conflicts in marketing — 57% of respondents named this area as the most problematic. Such data is provided by the MORE marketing agency in its research, which was reviewed by Izvestia on June 8.
According to the study, disagreements arise due to a different understanding of the role of marketing: if 100% of entrepreneurs under the age of 25 consider it a key growth tool, then among millennials (26-40 years old) There are only 59% of them. In the older generation (60+), 33% even consider marketing a secondary function.
"Marketing is not a magic button, but a long—term tool that brings results only with a competent strategy, constant work and proper process setup," said Marina Perminova, founder of the MORE marketing agency.
22% of entrepreneurs do not see the result even if they have a competent specialist. This is especially often noted by millennials (33%) and representatives of generation X (14%). 8%, mostly the older generation, are completely disappointed in marketing, believing that "there are too many expectations and too little return."
Management style also increases tension: 41% of millennials tend to micromanage, while 30% of managers, on the contrary, do not interfere in the work of marketers. 10% admitted that they would like to control the process, but do not know how.
In 37% of companies, the marketing is handled personally by the owner. Among the respondents (under 25 years old) There are 100% of them, and 55% among the generation (60+). Millennials are more likely to create departments with KPIs (33%), while representatives of generation X (40-60 years old) mostly delegate tasks to related departments (13%).
Earlier, on May 28, it was reported that among the surveyed employers, 33% are ready to raise an employee's salary if he is ready to focus on his main job and give up part-time work. At the same time, 51% of respondents believe that part-time work reduces an employee's productivity, as he simultaneously distributes energy and attention between several tasks. This is stated in the results of a study by the Russian School of Management.
