Eight people were killed in a shooting at a humanitarian aid station in Gaza

Eight people were killed and more than 60 injured in a shooting near a humanitarian aid distribution point in the southern Gaza Strip. This was announced on June 6 by the press service of the authorities.
"Statistics on the number of dead, injured and missing civilians who died from bullets fired by the Israeli occupiers while trying to get food from American-Israeli aid centers. <...> Friday, June 6, 2025: eight dead, 61 injured in Rafah," the press service's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that 110 people have been killed and 583 injured in similar attacks in recent days.
Earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip that movement to humanitarian aid distribution sites is allowed only during daylight hours, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time (coincides with Moscow time). The representative of the IDF, Colonel Avichai Adrai, noted that being on the territory of distribution centers at night is strictly prohibited and poses a threat to life.
