In France, Macron was accused of wasting all national money on Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron, having undertaken to help the Kiev authorities, did not leave a single cent for the army of his own country, giving all the national money to Ukraine. This was stated on June 6 by the leader of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot.
"There is not a cent left for the French army! <...> The figures have just appeared and they are terrible: Macron has been lying all along! <…> He gives everything to Ukraine," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The politician added that the state of the modern French army is worse than it has ever been before.
On June 5, Philippot noted that Ukraine is doing everything to disrupt the peace process. According to the politician, Kiev receives 200 million euros in aid from Paris. However, further financing of Ukraine is becoming unacceptable, as the French authorities plan to provide assistance to Kiev, while reducing health care costs and raising taxes, he stressed.
