The air Defense Forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was flying towards Moscow. This was announced on June 6 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense destroyed the drone that attacked Moscow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The mayor also clarified that emergency workers are at the crash site.
