Participants of the sixth stream of the Moscow Academy of Innovators have been identified

The selection of participants in the sixth stream of the Academy of Innovators educational program has been completed in Moscow. According to the results of the application campaign, experts have selected the 100 most promising projects, the authors of which will continue to work under the guidance of personal mentors, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"More than 5.8 thousand people have registered to participate in the accelerator. This time, entrepreneurs from more than 140 cities in Russia and 15 friendly countries, including Belarus, Saudi Arabia and Morocco, showed interest in it," Natalia Sergunina said.

The largest number of applications, besides Moscow, came from St. Petersburg, Perm, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Ufa.

A significant number of innovators are students of leading Russian universities between the ages of 18 and 20, including the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

There were also 13 applications from developers under the age of 18. For example, an intelligent travel planning assistant created by Maximilian Albeshchenko and Georgy Sibik was selected for the accelerator. The service analyzes user preferences, remembers routes and creates individual travel plans with booking and schedule management functions.

Other projects included in the top 100 include digital solutions for interior designers, industrial robotics, software that helps navigate large video archives, and industrial waste recycling equipment. The most popular areas are information technology, education, medicine, e—commerce and industry.

Upon completion of the acceleration program, participants will be able to test their developments on urban and business sites in Moscow.

In addition, enrollment for the seventh stream of the Academy of Innovators is open until September 10.
