New Nissan-based pickups will start selling in Russia

In the fourth quarter of 2025, two new pickup trucks of the Oting brand are planned to be introduced in Russia — the Z9 and the Rich 7, according to a statement from the Sinomach Auto concern, which was received by Izvestia on June 6. Both models were developed in China at the Zhengzhou Nissan joint venture.
The Oting Z9 model features Z-shaped optics, and the pickup is promised a modern interior and a powerful power plant. The clearance is 270 mm. The list of equipment will include adaptive cruise control. Sinomach Auto is considering the possibility of launching a hybrid powertrain version on the Russian market.
The Oting Rich 7 pickup truck is based on the Nissan Navara. It has an X-shaped radiator grille and LED head optics. The length of the SUV is 5.28 m, ground clearance is 210-215 mm. The company will announce more details about the specifications of both models closer to the start of sales.
On May 14, it was reported that the first deliveries of Oting Palasso hardtop pickups to the Russian market are expected at the end of June 2025. The first model of the Oting brand, the Paladin frame SUV, entered the Russian market at the end of February last year. In 2026, Sinomach Auto plans to launch a new full-size Oting SUV based on the Nissan Patrol platform.
