PMC Wagner has completed its mission in Mali

PMC Wagner has completed its main mission in Mali and will leave the country. The company's statement was posted on the Wagner Unloading Telegram channel on June 6.
It is indicated that the PMCs and the Malian army have fulfilled their main task — to return all regional capitals in the country to the control of the legitimate authorities.
"For 3.5 years, the orchestra has been fighting shoulder to shoulder with the people of Mali against terrorism. <...> The mission is completed. PMC Wagner is returning home," the message says.
Earlier, on July 29, PMC Wagner reported that the group had fought with militants in Mali from July 22 to July 27, and there had also been losses among Russian fighters. Military personnel of the Malian Armed Forces (FAM) and fighters of the 13th Wagner PMC assault squad in the vicinity of the village of Tin Zawatin fought fierce battles with militants from the Azawad Coordination Movement (CMA) and the Al-Qaeda terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation in the Sahel.
