The military expert called the critical component of US military assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The United States may stop or significantly reduce military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by military expert, retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk on Friday, June 6.

According to the expert, Ukraine will most acutely feel the lack of intelligence.

Matviychuk noted that US President Donald Trump protects the interests of his country and does nothing to its detriment, and anyone who causes any damage to it is an enemy of the United States.

"Kiev is provoking an escalation in the conflict with Russia, while Trump needs to de-escalate it. In this way, he will achieve two goals at once: to make peace with Russia and expand his zone of influence. He needs to extinguish the conflict, but Kiev is resisting this," he said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

According to the expert, in this regard, reducing or stopping US military assistance to the Armed Forces is an obvious step.

The military expressed confidence that Europe would not be able to compensate for Washington's support.

"The United States is transferring long-range weapons, ammunition, space intelligence data, and equipment. Europe will not be able to replace this, because in the years after World War II it has become firmly hooked on the US military-industrial complex," the colonel said, adding that if Washington refuses to help NATO countries as well, the alliance will turn into an unnecessary alliance.
