In the Lipetsk region, a man beat a friend with a shovel handle

In the Lipetsk region, a man attacked his friend with a shovel handle during an argument. A criminal case has been opened, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported on Friday, June 6.

The incident occurred in June 2024 on Zarechnaya Street in Dubovets village in Dolgorukovsky district. Lipchanin struck his opponent once on the head. The victim had a wound in the parietal region, writes GOROD48.

Now the 37-year-old attacker is accused of intentionally causing minor harm to health (under paragraph "b" of the second part of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). During the investigation, the defendant admitted his guilt, he faces up to two years in prison.

Earlier in May, it was reported that a 20-year-old murder had been solved in a village near Lipetsk. In one of the houses, the remains of a man with signs of violent death were found under the floor.
