The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip that movement to the distribution points of humanitarian aid is allowed only during daylight hours, from 6:00 to 18:00 local time (coincides with Moscow time). This was announced on June 6 by the representative of the IDF, Colonel Avichai Adrai.

"Outside of daytime, from 18:00 to 6:00, the territory [of the distribution centers] is considered a closed military zone," The Times of Israel newspaper quoted him as saying.

The IDF representative noted that being on the territory of distribution centers at night is strictly prohibited and poses a threat to life.

Earlier in the day, The Jerusalem Post reported that the Humanitarian Aid Fund for Gaza (GHF) announced the closure of all aid posts in the enclave. The GHF urged not to approach the places of distribution of aid.
