The Americanist allowed the Trump-Musk conflict to be orchestrated
The demonstrative nature of the conflict between US President Donald Trump and American billionaire Elon Musk may indicate that the quarrel was orchestrated. Konstantin Blokhin, a leading researcher at the Center for Security Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, and an American political scientist, expressed this opinion on Friday, June 6.
He questioned whether there was a real conflict, because when Musk joined the Trump administration, a very high storm of indignation from the establishment began.
"Because Musk's unlimited financial resources, and his fortune of more than $400 billion, were connected to Trump's administrative resources. Which turned this alliance into an indestructible tandem. This caused a wave of indignation. The Democrats began to try to manipulate public opinion," Blokhin said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .
The political scientist recalled that due to the wave of indignation, radical Americans began to set fire to and beat Musk's Tesla cars. The company's shares fell, and the billionaire began to lose his capital.
"Being in the administration has become toxic for him. It was necessary to get out of this, to defiantly distance ourselves from the Trump team," explained Blokhin.
He added that Trump, Musk, and the billionaire remain the main financial donor to the Republican Party.
"But if he stops being a financial donor, then it will be clear that this is a real conflict," he concluded.
On June 3, Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the Trump administration, calling it a disgusting "abomination," RT reports. On June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching Trump, NSN reports. The president, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the easiest way to save money in the state budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply.
