During excavation work in the center of Moscow, a suspicious object was found that looked like a mortar shell. This was announced on Friday, June 6, by a source of Izvestia.

Sappers arrived at the scene. Experts have determined that the find is a mortar mine from the time of the Great Patriotic War (WWII).

The shell was handed over to the competent authorities.
