- The 9th Russian-Chinese EXPO will be held in Yekaterinburg from July 7 to 10.
The Russian side is actively preparing for the 9th Russian-Chinese EXPO, which will be held as part of the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition from July 7 to 10 in Yekaterinburg.
Within the framework of the event, a large-scale exhibition and a rich business program are planned, including 11 key events dedicated to the development of bilateral economic, industrial and technological relations. Among them are the round table "Industrial Cooperation between Russia and China", panel discussions and sessions aimed at strengthening cooperation in various industries.
The central event of the event will be the Fifth Russian-Chinese Forum on Interregional Cooperation, where prospects for deepening partnership between the regions of Russia and China, as well as specific projects in the field of industry, innovation and trade will be discussed. The Forum will become a platform for the exchange of experience and the development of joint development strategies that will strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
The Chinese exposition will occupy a separate exhibition pavilion and will bring together enterprises from such industries as transport engineering, digital technologies, mining, agro-industrial complex, timber industry and others. Among the major Chinese companies, Liaoning Engineering and Technology Company CIMM, Nanning Yuhua Commercial and Industrial Company, Mudanjiang Commerce Department, Harbin Jinheng Packaging Company and others have already confirmed their participation. Since 2017, at the initiative of the Chinese side, the status of a partner region has been introduced during the Russian-Chinese EXPO. In 2025, it will be performed by Shandong Province.
On the eve of the 9th Russian-Chinese EXPO, a trilateral agreement of intent was signed between Fa Ze, Head of the Integrated Department of the Center for the Promotion and Organization of International Exhibitions in Heilongjiang Province, and Zhang Yi, CEO of EXPO-ONE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION GO. The operator of the event is Formica Event LLC.
"China is one of our main partners, and the Russian—Chinese EXPO is not just an exhibition, but a living bridge that connects our countries every year and opens up new opportunities for joint development. We see how close industrial cooperation helps to create innovative solutions and strengthen strategic partnerships for many years to come," said Anton Atrashkin, INNOPROM's Program Director.
The eighth Russian-Chinese EXPO was held on May 17-21 in Harbin. It was organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. The exhibition was visited by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Deputy Chairman of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng.
The Russian part of the exposition has a total area of more than 3.5 thousand square meters. 36 stands were placed nearby. Promising projects and proposals for cooperation were presented by 16 subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as leading enterprises in various sectors of the economy. In addition, over 50 small and medium-sized enterprises operating in various industries, from information technology to the agro-industrial complex, demonstrated their products.
