In St. Petersburg, a one-year-old boy was burned by "Shumanite"

A one-year-old child was burned by spilling a fat remover "Shumanit" on himself in St. Petersburg. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, the 78 TV channel reported on Friday, June 6.

The incident occurred a day earlier at about 4:30 p.m. in a house on Rubinstein Street. The boy, born in July 2024, spilled cleaning agent on himself due to the parents' oversight.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the children's city hospital No. 1. Doctors diagnosed the small patient with a first-degree burn and hospitalized him.

Earlier in April, a similar case occurred in the Leningrad region. A two-year-old child swallowed a cockroach remedy due to the mother's oversight.
