More than 40 places of concentration of stray dogs were found in Kamchatka

There are more than 40 places where stray animals congregate in Kamchatka. These are the results of an operational and preventive measure aimed at detecting violations of the rules of keeping pets.
According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, inspections were carried out from May 27 to May 29. Experts found 41 places of accumulation of stray dogs: 21 were in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, 10 in Yelizovsky district, two in Vilyuchinsk, four in Ust-Kamchatsky, three in Milkovo and one place in Ust-Bolsheretsk.
Information about this was sent to the heads of local governments in order to take measures to capture stray animals.
In addition, a case of violation of dog walking rules was recorded in Ust-Kamchatsk. The relevant materials were sent to the municipal district administration for further investigation.
We had conversations with pet dog owners. They were made aware of their responsibility for violating the rules of animal husbandry.
Earlier it was reported that a dog attacked an eight-year-old girl on a playground in the Kamchatka Territory, and the child was hospitalized. Previously, the girl was returning from school. The dog that attacked the child was tied to a pole in the playground.
