The date of the beginning of the swimming season in Sevastopol has been announced

The swimming season will open in Sevastopol on June 15. It will last until September 15th. The city authorities will strengthen control over the state of recreation areas.

Natalia Gulyaeva, Acting Director of the Department of Urban Economy, will determine those responsible for the readiness of the beaches. This instruction was given by Governor Mikhail Razvozzhaev. The administration of Sevastopol has been instructed to monitor the appeals of citizens and tourists about the state of recreation areas in real time.

Earlier, the governor of Sevastopol stated that this summer the authorities expect twice as many tourists as last year. "For the summer period, we forecast an increase of almost twice as much as last year's figures," said Mikhail Razvozzhaev. The governor noted that the authorities continue to monitor the situation after the fuel oil spill in December 2024 in the Black Sea.
