Trinity Parents' Saturday is one of the most important days in the Orthodox calendar, dedicated to the universal commemoration of the dead. For believers, this date is of particular importance because it recalls the spiritual connection between the living and the dead, as well as the need for prayerful support for souls in transition before the Last Judgment. Parents' Saturday is celebrated on the eve of the Holy Trinity, one of the 12 main church celebrations. On this day, it is customary to visit cemeteries and read prayers that can alleviate the fate of the deceased and grant them God's mercy.
